Chapel House was converted into nine properties in 2003/04, before which it had a colourful existence as a shopping and office complex, youth café, dance venue and place of worship. It is one of the architectural highlights of Lerwick’s old town. Although number nine is situated to the rear of the house, its split level nature means that it enjoys views over Bressay Sound and Lerwick’s charming lanes network. There is ample free car parking nearby, while the property’s central location makes it ideal for those who prefer to walk (the property is minutes away from spectacular coastal walks around the Knab and Breiwick Bay). Situated within the town centre, the property is seconds from Lerwick’s restaurants and bars and is within walking distance of several bus stops and Lerwick’s main taxi rank.
